Advised dress code for Saturday the 8th of October: Suits for men and dress to impress for women.
* For the church women may wish to take a shrug in case it's nippy!

GETTING
THERE
Newcastle:
Option 1: Air France flight from Newcastle International Airport on Friday the 7th of October at 6.25 am to Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport. Return flight from the same airport on Sunday the 9th of October at 3.30 pm. The flight is 1 hour 50 min and £146 return as priced on 31/12/2015 via Sky Scanner website.
Upon landing at Charles De Gaulle Airport you will find a train station. Take the TGV train from Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport direct to Angers St Laud (2 hrs 15 min). Cynthia will book a group train ticket from Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport to Angers St Laud as it will be discounted with it being a block booking. Please contact Cynthia with your flight arrival and flight return details, number of return train tickets required and if you need a place on the bus from Angers St Laud train station to the Chateau. ** Please CC me into e-mails to Cynthia cjhardy@walkerhamill.com.lease
Option 2: Same as above but fly out on the Thursday. Spend an evening in Angers St Laud perhaps at a local hotel such as the Mercure Centre. Enjoy the shopping, local bars (including an Irish or German bar!) and restaurants. Collection from Angers at 3.30 pm on the Firday and Arrive at the chateau refreshed and ready for the celebrations...unless you decide to do a Contreau or wine tour! We will be in Angers on the Thursday ready for a few tipples.
Option 3: Drive + ferry or Eurostar for cars. A great way to explore France and stock up on cheap wine! Alternatively have a mini holiday - fly to Paris and pick up a hire car from there to explore France.

London & International:
Eurostar, Flight or Bus to Paris. Then the TGV train to Angers St Laud - bus collection from there. Please contact Cynthia with your flight arrival and return times for a return TGV train ticket. Alternatively fly to Nantes or Rennes and Taxi or car hire from there.

What
Friday the 7th of October:
3.30 pm - 4.00 pm: Bus pick up from Angers Rail Station. If you are travelling by plane to Paris & train, please ensure you plan your journey to co-ordinate with this pick up time. Please contact me with your Paris flight arrival time and I will be booking the group train tickets.
4.35 pm: Check in at Chateau Challain
5.00 pm - 7.00 pm: Time to explore the chateau and grounds. If you arrive in the Loire Valley early a bike ride or trip to a chateau with wine tasting can be organised. Ask Cynthia our wedding co-ordinator to organise for you - contact details are on the last page of the website.
7.00 pm: Time to meet the rest of the guests. Wine, beers, juice and BBQ is served. The dress code is casual / very relaxed.
Saturday the 8th of of October:
9 am - 11 am: Breakfast
12 noon - 2pm; Yard games or feel free to explore the grounds. Light lunch, beers and Autumnal punch available at no charge. Relaxing or rejuvinating ladies massages first come first served from 10 am until 2.00 pm. I will be in touch with the ladies regarding this in due course. Charge applies.
4 pm: The ceremony
4.30 pm: Pictures, canapes & cocktails
6.00 pm: 4 course Michelin menu by Michel Cudraz
7.30 pm: Drinks and dancing
10.00 pm: Cutting of the cake
Midnight: Carriages
Sunday the 9th of October:
8 am - 11 am: Breakfast
12 noon - 1 pm: Check out

Cost of Accommodation
Sadly all accommodation in the Chateau, Coach House and Manor House has been allocated.
There is additional accomodation near the Chateau. Please contact Cynthia and she will be happy to arrange. She can also organise pick up and drop off using the Chateau mini bus, please let her know if you require this service.
